Strong’s Concordance Translation: “AND THIS IS THE RECORD = evidence given, report, witness, testimony. THAT GOD HATH GIVEN TO US = adventure, bestow, bring forth, commit, deliver up, grant, make, minister, suffer. ETERNAL = perpetual, forever, everlasting, world began. LIFE = lifetime, breath, spirit. AND THIS LIFE IS IN HIS SON = position in place, time, state and by implication instrumentality i.e. a relation of rest.
