Key Verse: Proverbs 4:13:

King James Translation: Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.”

Interlinear Translation: “Take hold on instruction; do not let go, keep her, for she is your life.”

Strong’s Concordance Translation: “TAKE FAST HOLD = to fasten upon hence to seize, be strong, figuratively courageous, causative strengthen, cure, help, repair, fortify, obstinate, to bind, restrain, conquer. OF INSTRUCTION = chastisement, figuratively reproof, warning also restraint, bond, check, correction, discipline, doctrine, rebuke. LET HER NOT GO = slacken, abate, cease, consume, forsake, idle, not leave, not let alone, be slothful. KEEP HER = to guard, to protect, maintain, obey. FOR SHE IS THY LIFE = raw flesh, living thing, alive, appetite, company, congregation, maintenance.
