King James Translation: “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

Interlinear Translation: “The end of the matter whole let us hear. God fear and His commandments keep – for this applies to every man.”

Strong’s Concordance Translation: LET US HEAR = to hear intelligently, attention, obedience, call together, attentively, carefully, consent, consider, content, diligently. THE CONCLUSION = termination, end, hinder, part. OF THE WHOLE = any or every, in all manner, altogether, enough, everyone, howsoever, as many as, whatsoever. MATTER = a word as spoken of or thing, cause, act, advice, affair, answer, any such thing, because of, business, care, case, cause, certain rate. FEAR GOD ‘ to revere, to frighten, affright, afraid, dreadful, put in fear, terrible act. AND KEEP = to hedge about as with thorns, guard, to protect, attend, beware, be circumspect, take heed to self, mark, look narrowly, observe, preserve, regard, sure, watchman. HIS COMMANDMENTS = command, precept, law, ordinance. FOR THIS IS THE WHOLE = hence all, any, every, only, all manner, any manner, enough, every place, howsoever, as many as, ought, whatsoever. DUTY OF MAN = arrange, figuratively to speak, answer, appoint, bid, command, commune, declare, give, promise, pronouncement, rehearse, subdue, teaching, use, entreaty.
