King James Translation: “For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

Interlinear Translation: “For Jehovah gives wisdom, from His mouth are knowledge and understanding.”

Strong’s Concordance Translation: “FOR THE LORD GIVETH = to give, given, add, apply, appoint, ascribe, assign, avenge, bestow, hither, cast, cause, charge, commit, offer, ordain, pay, perform, place, pour, print, pull, put forth, recompense, render. WISDOM = skilful, wisely, wit, to be wise in mind, word, or act, exceeding, teach wisdom, make self, shew self, deal, make wiser. OUT OF HIS MOUTH = the mouth as the means of blowing particularly speech, edge, portion or side, accord, after, appointment, assent, collar, commandment, eat, entry, file, hole, sentence, skirt, talk, wish, word. COMETH KNOWLEDGE = cunning, aware, wittingly, to know, to ascertain, observation, care, recognition, instruction, designation, advice, answer, appoint, assuredly, be aware. AND UNDERSTANDING = intelligence, argument, caprice, discretion, reason, skillfulness.
