    Vernal Equinox Shawl Suprise 2009

The image above is from Finnish knitter, Lankakomero's blog.

She has created a Vernal Equinox Shawl 2009 project that involves 5 or 6 clues given at various times with the goal of finishing the shawl by March 20th, the first day of spring.

Also check out Westcoastsupernatural , a blog by a knitter from British Columbia, who is working on the Vernal Equinox Shawl, and writes about it in entry dated February 5.

What a neat idea; it will be interesting to see the finished shawls.
