The 1996 Masters marked the beginning of the Masters tradition at Obringer National. Scattered showers interrupted play during the day, but only added to the excitement and difficulty of the course. Bruce Mason went on to win the first Masters, and took home the coveted Green Jacket and winner's trophy. The man who introduced pickled okra to the Masters, Bill Scoggin, is shown at right presenting the Champion's trophy to Bruce. |
