| Rob Dembinski successfully defeated Bruce Mason as well as many other challenging (challenged?) opponents to become the Masters Champion once again. Having now won the title in both 1998 and 1999, he has stripped Bruce Mason of the title of "Only Back-to-Back Masters Champion." | |||||||||||||||

A younger set of spectators graced this year's event, possibly rallying for the tournament's youngest player, Aaron Englebardt (6), who came very close to ousting his first round opponent, Dave N. | ||||||||||||||
| The tournament proved too much for some players who were not yet acclimatized to the day-long festival of food, drink and play. However, the challenge of a shot of vodka per box, made by Masters rookie Scott Z. to former champion Bruce M., might also have played a role. It seemed to have affected Bruce's game as well. We'll see if this or similar challenges are issued at next year's event. | ![]() |

For the second year in a row, Masters Hostess, Lee Ann O. made an amazing double pipe. Although losing in the second round, she still enjoyed this brief moment in the sun. This year's tournament, however, boasted two double pipes. (A sure indication of the caliber of players competing!) The second double pipe was by 4th seed John Wood, who unfornately lost in the first round of play. |
