011001 – Elizabeth

I have seen it stated in places on the Web that Elizabeth, was married to Squire Trivette, son of David’s brother, Owen. I have found no documentation of this, or that David had a daughter named Elizabeth. However, the 1850 Ashe County census shows Squire and Elizabeth’s household sandwiched between that of Owen and David. So I feel it is quite possibly true. This would make Squire and Elizabeth first cousins if they shared the same paternal grandfather; they were second cousins if their paternal grandfathers were siblings John and Richard.
