DECLARATION OF RETIREMENT August, 1998

When in the course of human employment, it becomes necessary for one employee to dissolve the political hands which have connected him with his employer, and assume among the opportunities of the profession, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of This Nation and of his God entitle him. A decent respect to the opinions of co-workers requires that one should declare the causes which impel one to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all engineers are licensed equally, that they are endowed by their Board with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are: the right of renewal with continuing education, professional respect and the pursuit of more lucrative employment....
