MESSENGER HISTORY
Messenger was founded in 1997 by Mark Pyle & Brian Oseland in Sumter, South Carolina. The band, with it's former members Pat Minor and Marshala Austin, achieved regional popularity at fairs, festivals, clubs and other events.
The Band purchased the former East Avalon Recorders facility located in musically historicial Muscle Shoals, AL in December of 2001 and relocated to the area.
Messenger has received airplay from the indie album "Take IT Back" on over 200 classic rock stations throughout the United States, the Raliegh/Durham NC market and college radio at the University of South Carolina.
Messenger was signed to the indie VISUAL RECORDS label in 2000 and will soon release a album of new material to be recorded at Clear Day Studio Inc.
The band with it's new members, will continue to write and perform all original "positive message" material and look forward to the second chapter of Messenger.
