- We are considering playing a short film (approx 1 hour) as part of the night's events
- We would like to have some volunteers available to escort anybody to or from the church who is uncomfortable walking through the neighborhood alone.
- what kind of food will be available? where will we get it? let's not forget accessory supplies
- We need to have an alternate plan in case of rain. perhaps make it an indoor dessert event and reschedule the food and a movie for another weekend. which one?
- will there be time for more activities? should we plan more?
- what about door prizes? maybe a volunteer to take down peoples name and address (and phone number if they won't be present), then create a ticket to put in the hat. do we say one ticket per person or one per household plusone for each child.
If we want to pursue gifts from businesses, we need to find a volunteer. Perhaps Grey or Mrs Cockerham could provide guidance as to how to go about it.
- how do we inform the neighborhood and get an approx. head count? maybe walk through and ask as we hand out the invites? if we have door prizes, we could offer an extra entry or maybe a seperate drawing for people who commit early.
