Funeral services were held for Mr. Hayward Williams, December 30, 1970 at the Highway Church of Christ, Marion, Bishop R. F. Davis, Pastor.

Funeral services were held for Mr. Thearchie McNair of Dillon, Dec. 31, 1970, at the Manning Baptist Church, Rev. E. A. Spann, Pastor.  Mr. McNair was the son of Mr. _len McNair and  the late Mrs. Lillie B. McNair.  He was the husband of the former Rebecca James.

Magdalene Moore Column:

Funeral services were held for Mrs. able Hinton and her son Tommie last Sunday afternoon at Glen United M.E. Church, Sellers.  Mrs. Hinton and son were fatally burned at their home in Norfolk VA. She was a sister of Mrs. Beatrice Fleming of Latta.

Mr. Garland Penn Belin of Bronx, NY, died Saturday, February 13. Funeral service will be at Bethel Hill A.M.E. Church, Friday, Feb. 19, Rev. W. W. Miller, Pastor.  Mr. Belin was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Belin of Latta.  He is the brother of Mr. Hubert, Pervis and a sister of Mrs. Georgia Bethea all of Latta. A brother to Mr. Moses Belin of Little Rock nd Mr. Joe Belin in Dillon.

Magdalene Moore Column:

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Lela Baccus, Saturday, February 27, 1871 in Washington, DC.  Mrs. Baccus is the sister of Mrs. Frances Hall Adam of Latta.

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Janie Mae Bradley of Brooklyn, NY, formerly of Marion, at St. John Baptist Church in Latta last Monday, March 1, Rev. O. E. Jackson, Pastor.  Burial was in Oakey Point by the Ideal Funeral Parlor of Florence.  Mrs. Bradly is survived by five sons, Artemus Freeman, Mitchel, James, Donal and Lafon Bradley of Brooklyn, NY, eleven sisters, eight brothers and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held last Sunday afternoon at Weston Chapel A.M.E. Church for Mrs. Louise Moody Jardson of Washington, DC. Rev Hugo Stanley, officiated.  Mrs. Jardson was the daughter of Rev. Frank Moody and a niece of Mrs. Bessie White of Latta.

Funeral service was held Wednesday, March 17 for Mr. Alford Smith of Latta and Spring Branch at Weston Chapel Church, Re. Hugo Stanley, Pastor.  Interment at Fork Chapel Cemetery, Marion. Survivors; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Robinson, Brooklyn, NY.  Two sons, Alford, Jr. of Little Washington, NC and William Smith of Latta, two sisters; Miss Edna Smith and Miss Georgia Smith, both of Fork. One brother, Ed Smith of Fork twenty-five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held for Miss Sarah Alie Graham, 72, Dillon, SC at St. Stephen United Methodist Church last Sunday.  Rev. E. W. William, officiating.  Burial was in Bethel Hill Cemetery by Green's Funeral Home.  Miss Graham was born in Dillon County, daughter of the late Robert H. and Emily L. Graham. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Marion G. Wright of Dillon, two brothers, Theodore Graham of Trenton, NJ and Benjamin P. Graham of Chesterton, Maryland.

Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Dudley of Dillon, Tuesday in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church by Rev. L. R. Fegues.  Burial was in Ceder Fall Cemetery.  Mrs. Dudley was the mother of Mr. Thomas Dudley of Dillon and Mrs. Teresa McRae.

Jones, Minister.  Mrs. McInnis was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mary Lytch. (as given)  She was born in Marlboro County.  Before moving to Brooklyn, she lived in Latta.  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Lula Goldsmith, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren all of Brooklyn, NY.

Funeral services was held for Mr. Fred William Godfery last Sunday, November 28th in New Mt. Zion A. M. E. Church, Sellers.  Rev. T. Sanders, Pastor.  He was the husband of Mrs. Julane Evans Godfery.

Mrs. Annie Scott of Baltimore, Maryland died.  She is a sister of Mr. Fletcher Sanders of Latta.

Funeral services were held for Master Tyrone Grice of Jersey City, NJ, last Sunday afternoon at St John Baptist Church in Latta. Tyrone Eric Grice, son of Willie and Thomasina Dudley Grice was born July 13, 1968 in Jersey City, NJ.  Surviving are his parents, two brothers, Kenneth Terell of the home and Patrick Dudley of Dillon, his grandparents, four great grandparents.

We regret to hear of the death of Mrs. Evelyn Whittington White of Philadelphia, PA.  She was a native of South Carolina and the daughter of Mrs. Maddie Whittington of Latta.  She is married to Mr. Robert White, a son of Mrs. Laura White of Latta. Funeral services will be in Philadelphia.

Mr. Rufus Jones died Sunday, December 19th. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 23 at St. Phillip United M. Church.  He was the husband of Mrs, Pearl Jones of Latta.
