Item 1 - The store of C. F. Bass was robbed.

Item 2 - Orangeburg, Jan 2 - Miss Annie E. Connor and Rev. J.H. Graves were married Wednesday afternoon at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.H. Conner near Branchville.

Item 3 - Mr. and Mrs. H. Manning announce the marriage of their daughter Mary Belle to Mr. Charlie Ellis Bethea on Tuesday, January 9th.

Item 4 - Mrs. Annie Woodle, the loving wife of Mr. Charles Woodle, passed away on December 22.  She was a loving wife and good mother and will be sadly missed in her home.  She leaves a husband, mother and one child to mourn her loss.  Also a host of other relatives and friends.

Item 5 - Frank Niernsee, superintendent of the Dillon Oil Mill was shot by Joe Hagan

Item 6 - Miss Vallie Bethea left Monday for Mullins where she has accepted a position in the graded school.

Item 7 - Misses Florence and Amanda Edwards entertained the young couples of the town.

Item 8 - Miss Mamie Braddy entertained friends

Item 9 - Miss Vallie Bethea hosted a miscellaneous shower for Miss Mary Belle Manning

Item 10 - Mrs. C. G. Bass assisted by Mesdames Berry and Manning entertained friends.

Many Attend Funeral Services for Everette Atkins - Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. F. Trammell Sunday afternoon at five o'clock for Everette Atkin at Union cemetery near his home.  A large number of his friends and relatives attended and the floral designs were many and beautiful.
