1970 ~ 2003
Keve’ Lofel Johnson, age 33, Clarkston,
Georgia, husband of Angela Clark Johnson, died Tuesday, September 16,
2003 after a brief illness at his residence in Clarkston, GA. Born January
30, 1970 in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Clarence and
Lulla Yates Johnson, was a 1989 graduate of Harrodsburg High School,
attended Eastern Kentucky University, was a self-employed tax consultant,
a former member of the United Southern Baptist Church in Cincinnati,
attended the Anointed Voices of Praise Deliverance Temple in Clarkston,
and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrodsburg.
Survivors besides his wife include
two daughters, Tamera and Cameron Johnson, both of Clarkston; one brother,
Michael Johnson, Atlanta; two sisters,
Pamela Johnson, Cincinnati,
and Patricia Johnson, Harrodsburg; several nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother Larry Johnson and
a sister Gwendolyn Kay Johnson.
Funeral services were conducted 1:00
PM Monday, September 22, 2003 at the First
Baptist Church,
Broadway, Harrodsburg, by Brother Virgil A. Hill. Burial was in the
Maple Grove Cemetery (Section M, Lot 11-2nd
Row, and Grave 11). Visitation was Monday, September 22, 2003 from 11:00
AM until the hour of service.
Pallbearers were Ricky Jones, John
Linton, Jim Pittman, David Yates, John T. Mays, Kendall Patton, Scott
Conover, and Darryl Smith.
Honorary bearers were Miquel Yates,
Tyrone Jones, Rodney Parks, Roger Brown, and Joey Yates.
The Parks Funeral Home is in charge
of local arrangements; the Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home in Atlanta,
GA assisted in arrangements in Georgia.
