To all to whom these Presents shall come I Anne Harris of Cumberland County send Greeting KNOW YE that I the said Anne Harris for divers good Causes & Consideration me ~ thereto moving but especially for and in Consideration of the natural love and affection I have for and bear to my Son Joseph Harris have given granted released and confirmed and by these Presents do give grant release & Confirm to my Said Son Joseph Harris & his Heirs one certain Tract of Parcel of Land situate & being in the said County of Cumberland on the North side of Buckingham Road Containing as is supposed about four hundred Acres be the same more or less & is the same Land which was conveyed & made over to the said Joseph Harris by his decd Father Benjamin Harris in his life time by Deed recorded in Cumberland County Court & is also all that Part of my Swanns Creek Tract of land lying on the North Side of the aforeside Road except the Plantation whereon I now dwell And all houses Buildings Gardens orchards Woods Underwoods ways waters & Watercourse Profits Advantages Emoluments & Henditaments to the said hereby granted Premises belonging or appertaining & the reversion and Reversions Remainder & Remainders Rents & Profits thereof & all the Estate right Title Interest Property claim & Demand of me the said Anne Harris of in and to the said Premises and every Part thereof with the appurtenances To have and To hold the said Premises with the Appurtenances to the said Joseph Harris his ~ Heirs and Afsigns forever to his & their only Proper Use and Behoof And I the said Anne Harris the said Premises with the Appurtenances to the said Joseph Harris his Heirs and Afsigns against me and all Persons claiming under me will forever warrant and defend by theft Presents IN Witnefs where of I have hereto set my hand and affixed my Seal this twenty first day of June Anno Domini 1765
