Robert Paul Reeves

Listed next are home pages of people with the Reeves surname, or sites about such people, who have distinguished themselves in some extraordinary way, or who have gained public recognition, such as those in the entertainment field: One Medal of Honor winner and one Admiral, both of whom had US Navy ships named after them, are also included.

Dan Reeves, Football Coach - Dan was once the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons major league football team, and distinguished himself in this role. He may be best known to some through his appearance in TV commercials endorsing cholesterol-lowering medicines. At the current time I know of no web sites dealing specifically with Dan, but will search for and add any I may find in the future. So far,  all that I have learned is that he was born January 19, 1944 in Americus, Georgia.

Martha Reeves Home Page - Martha was born in Alabama. Her biography and musical career are included here.

Thomas James Reeves - Thomas won the U.S. Medal of Honor for action performed during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The account of his heroism is contained in the page "U.S.S. Reeves History," a biography of the first ship commissioned with the surname USS Reeves(DE156), which was named in Thomas' honor. Clicking on Thomas' name above will take you to this interesting site.

Admiral Joseph Mason Reeves - The second USS Reeves(DLG-24) was named for Admiral Joseph Mason Reeves, but the website for him no longer exists. A Google search on his name will yield some information, however. The Wikipedia.com site is most informative.
