About 1948

  It seems that a genealogy bug has bitten the world, including me. 
Genealogy has been the topic on several news shows, proving it's popularity 
of today. 
A big marriage for genealogy is to unite the computer with the searching
of your 
tree and for new relatives on the wide world web. I have found a lot of 
useful sources and new cousins by this approach.


 
  My sister in law, Sandi Childers, got me into genealogy.  
She does a great job of leg work,going to libraries, courthouses etc. 
I was already a user of the internet,
and after some eventful searches and queries have gotten  few more
generations back on our ancestors.
We have met a lot of wonderful people and a few became 
close cousins.
