Notes for JOHN R. SELLARS:
John's name was John Jackson. He took his mother's maiden name because Mr. Roberts did not want his daughter married to a Jackson. This is the story told.

Notes for HENRY SELLARS:
November 18, 1852, Henry was granted the authority to perform marriage ceremonies. He was Justice of the Peace.
1870 Henry was ordered to be permitted to qualify as deputy clerk, to take oaths when called upon.
There are several letters out there floating around in other cousins property, that I had the fortune to be able to read. Maybe one day they will post it for all to read.
