November 1998 Newsletter ArticleThe Bienville Place Garden Club had its first official meeting in September. In November we welcomed Eric McQuiston, a landscape designer. He explained how to design a garden that is functional, practical, and personally tailored to the homeowner’s taste and needs. Because we are a small group, everyone received personal advice.Our next meeting will be Thursday, February 4 at 7:35 PM. A master gardener from the extension service will be here to introduce plants that do well in our climate and soil. After a brief presentation the floor will be opened up for questions. If you have any interest in gardening, put this date on your calendar. Both men and women are welcome. For information, call Marta Gemelli at 875-9404. |
