Whenever
there is a significant election I make a point of looking at the astrological
influences to see what I can see. Its an occupational hazard of
sortsbordering, occasionally, on obsession. Please note that the
observations I make are strictly based upon my interpretation of the
cosmic influences. They have nothing to do with my personal opinion.
The
reason I bring this up is because of events that transpired after the
last presidential election. Aquarius newspaper printed my predictions,
in which I concluded that Mr. Kerry would lose to Mr. Bush. I received
several e-mails and phone calls from readers accusing me of being biased
in my assessment. The irony of it all was that personally I did not
favor Mr. Bush because I didnt see his chart as one that indicated
strong leadership abilities. It showed a tendency for a lot of things
to be hidden from view, and that made me uncomfortable.
Hillary vs. Barack in Pennsylvania
The
next big question looming in the Democratic Primary is how will the
Pennsylvania Primary shake out? Although Barack seems to be cutting
into Hillarys lead, will it be enough to steal the state away
from her and give him another win? Or will Hillary be able to maintain
a win with at least an 8% lead, which seems to be the number to beat
to still look respectable?
Prior
to this election, there will be a debate in Philadelphia on April 16.
Hillary happens to have a lucky break of sorts on that particular day,
suggesting that she will make very good use of the spotlight. With the
moon in Virgo, this is the time to be laying out specific details, rather
than focusing on lofty ideas. Both candidates can expect every word
to be analyzed with a fine-tooth comb, so accuracy is essential. Listing
what they have gotten right will work to their benefit. However, they
need to be careful about being overly critical of each other.
Astrologically
speaking, the odds remain in Hillarys favor to pull out a respectable
win in Pennsylvania and keep the race very much alive. It doesnt
appear that Obama falters to any large degree, but he wont be
able to pull off anything resembling what would appear to be an upset.
Check
back on this page for further commentary on subsequent elections in
Indiana and North Carolina on May 6, Nebraska and West Virginia on the
13th, Kentucky and Oregon on the 20th, and Montana and South Dakota
on June 3.
Other
dates of note:
August
25-28: Democratic National Convention in Denver
September
1-4: Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul
October
2: Vice Presidential debate in St. Louis, Missouri
October
7: Presidential debate in Nashville, Tennessee
October
15: Presidential debate in Hempstead, New York
I
have examined the charts of Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barak Obama, John
McCain and Mitt Romney. There is a question of accuracy with respect
to the times of birth for all but one candidate. Mitt Romney has a recorded
time of 9:51 a.m. in Detroit, Michigan on March 12, 1947. Barak Obamas
time, as best I have found through my limited research is August 4,
1961, 1:06 p.m. in Honolulu, Hawaii. I havent seen this time verified.
John McCain is listed in the AstroDataBank as August 29, 1936 at 9:00
a.m.in Cocosolo, Panama. I tend to be very skeptical of birth times
that are right on the top or bottom of the hour. Hillary Clintons
data that I work with is October 26, 1947 at 8:00 p.m. in Chicago, Illinois.
My motto when I have sketchy data is to take it with a grain of salt,
but by the same token, if that is the best data I can come up with,
then I have no choice but to at least use that and see how it works.
My
prediction for Super Tuesday, February 5, 2008 is that John McCain will
be the Republican nominee, which probably comes as no surprise. Mitt
Romney does not have enough support in his chart to show he can defeat
McCain. On the Democratic side, I see Barak Obama coming out way ahead
of Hillary Clinton and I see him as becoming the Democratic nominee.
If
that is the case and November 4 pits Mr. McCain against Mr. Obama, I
do believe that Mr. Obama will be our next President.
I
will be submitting this to my website, along with the technical details
below, as to how Ive formulated my opinion.
Should
I be incorrect, and Im the first to admit when I am, I will then
look at the actual nominees and form my opinion for the Presidential
Election.
Astrological
Aspects to the frontrunners' charts for Super Tuesday, February 5, 2008
Mitt
Romney:
Unfavorable
Aspects:
Transiting
Mars (24 Gemini) at a wide conjunction to natal and progressed Uranus,
(17 and 20 Gemini respectively) squaring his Natal Sun at 21 Pisces
and Inconjunct his Jupiter Moon conjunction at 27 Scorpio
Transiting
Pluto (0 Capricorn) on her Descendant, house of open enemies, Approaching
Conjunction to Progressed Sun (3 Capricorn) and Conjunct Progressed
Mercury (29 Sagittarius), Squaring Natal Moon (29 Pisces)
Transiting
Sun (16 Aquarius) separating from Opposition to Natal Mars Pluto conjunction
(14 Leo)
(ALSO:
Her Progressed Moon in August [21 Gemini] will be exactly square Transiting
Uranus, same time as Democratic National Convention August 25th-28th)
For
Barack Obama, the transiting nodes show up strongly both in the Super
Tuesday election date and also on November 4, 2008. The nodes have a
lot to do with destiny.
vs.
Hillary Clinton: The Transiting Nodes only hit her Solar Arc Uranus
and Sextile Natal Uranus
Transiting
Mars favors Barack Obama because it sits on his Progressed Descendant
and is therefore angular and strong,
vs.
Hillary Clinton: Transiting Mars is weak because it is in her twelfth
House and therefore decreases her competitive power and her visibility
Baracks
Progressed Moon is well situated on natal Jupiter vs. Hillarys
Progressed Moon tucked away in the Twelfth House and only Opposing Progressed
Jupiter and Solar Arc Neptune
Both
Barack Obama and John McCain have transiting Mars sitting on their Progressed
Descendant
