Russian Rocks 

Ingredients

 

 

 

 

2 cups

Raisins

3 Cups

Flour

3 ½ cups

Pecans

1 tsp.

Cloves

1 Stick

Oleo

1 tsp.

Allspice

1 ½ cup

Sugar

1 tsp.

Cinnamon

Eggs

3 Tbs.

Boiling Water

1 ½ tsp.

Soda

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sift dry ingredients. Mix a little of the sifted dry ingredients with nuts and raisins to coat. Cream oleo and sugar. Add eggs. In small cup combine soda and boiling water. Mixture should fizz for a few seconds. Add to liquid ingredient mixture. Fold in flour and nuts. Dough should be very stiff. Drop ½ teaspoon sized portions onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 8 – 10 minutes
