Directions from town to colony: Drive east on Route 70N to Dry Valley Road. Drive north on Dry Valley Road about 1.7 miles to a point about 0.2 miles north of fenced utility building on the east. The heronry is about 300 meters east of Dry Valley Road.

Description.
    General Description:
The nests are in 2 or 3 large deciduous trees.

    General Habitat: Woodlot in Suburban/Agricultural Area
    Specific Habitat: Deciduous Trees
    Species of nest trees: probably oaks/hickories
    Size: >1 hectare

History.
    This colony was active beginning at least as early as spring 2005, but it was larger this year than in any past year than in any past year when surveyed.
