| Comments: April 29 - Pair of Bald Eagles are seen several times a week in the area. We walked around the lake and noted 61 species of birds. Some snags dot the area around the cypress trees (Purple Martin 3, Tree Swallow 30, Northern Rough-winged Swallow 15, and Barn Swallow 5). The area to the south of the lake is dense swamp, bottomland forest to the Wolf River. Bottomland forest is to the south of the river. |
