Sevierville--On the Little Pigeon River at the junction of Highway 66 and Highway 338 near Sevierville, designated in DeLorme as Sanders Islands, of breeding colony of Great Blue Heron. 2007. March 10, Great Blue Heron (15 nests with 12-15 herons standing in or near the nests (Mary Jane Erwin via forward from Bill Grigsby).
