It was a cold and rainy weekend but we had alot of fun with our:
- Action / Adventure genre
- Golf whiffle ball item
- turning computer chair
- montage sequence
"A lone, dark horse female vigilante decides that revenge is a dish best served cold. One after another the henchmen fall and clues are discovered that lead her to her final target..."
On this page is a chronical of our progress that fateful day and a "behind the scenes" look at what went on.
Title:
"Deadly"
(action / adventure, golf whiffle ball, montage, something spinning)

- 02.17.06 Friday, 6pm: We gather for the Kick Off event, held at Carver Theater in Birmingham. There were over 30 teams show up to start things off. We bring a white garment bag that we found in Joey's trunk as our inspiration item, get our info and packet and head out to make our masterpiece.
- 02.17.06 Friday, 8pm: We all head out to Golden Temple for some authentic asian cusiene as we discuss plot points and endings
- 02.17.06 Friday, Midnight: We finally have the ending hammered out and we get everything outlined and storyboarded for Saturday. Josh goes out at 3am to get some night shots of the city and city streets which some of them end up being used for establishing shots and a final sped up shot of some traffic lights. We all then head to bed for a few hours sleep.
- 02.18.06 Saturday 9:30am: We finally drag ourselves awake with some Starbucks coffee and after an extensive makeup and wardrobe session with our friend Omur, we head out to Morris Ave. and downtown B'ham where it is drizzling and just above freezing. We get our action shots with the running and fighting and after a little break head over to our producer Kim's parent's house to do our final scene.
- 02.18.06 Saturday 8:00pm: The camera battery dies so, Will and Joey have to go get the charger (which we forgot) and we finally start filming the golf thug scene and the leg scene, then we film the sneaking scene in Kim's foyer and finally the fight scene with JP in the upstairs den and call it a night.
- 02.19.06 Sunday 1:00am: Josh starts capturing all the clips and puts together a rough storyline which ends up being over 8 minutes! Yikes! He finally gives up and gets some sleep.
- 02.19.06 Sunday 9:00am: Josh starts early working on a new version of the edit and finally with Kim and Joey's help gets it hacked down to under 5! Old Glimpse and Needleye music is added and it is rendered and burned to DVD by 4pm! We're on time! We all watch it and like it.
- 02.19.06 Sunday 6:00pm: Josh and Kim head down to ROJO for the big "turn in" and then have some steak tacos. The turn in is always kind of anticlimactic.
- 03.03.06 Saturday 8:00pm: Josh, Joey, Kim and Omur arrive at the Carver Theater and a few friends show up (Carrie, Alexis, and Josh's parents). "Deadly" screens with no major flaws and a few giggles. Over all a sucess!
